KPV (Lys-Pro-Val) is a naturally occurring tripeptide corresponding to the C-terminal sequence of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). It has been studied independently of the melanotropic activity associated with the parent peptide.
Preclinical research has examined KPV in relation to inflammatory signaling, cytokine activity, and immune-associated pathways, including NF-κB signaling and mediators such as TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β. Experimental models have been used to investigate these interactions across a range of cellular and tissue systems.
KPV remains a research compound of interest for investigating cytokine regulation, NF-κB signaling, immune-associated mechanisms, and inflammatory pathways under controlled experimental conditions.
KPV is supplied exclusively for laboratory research and analytical purposes. Not for human or animal consumption. Not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical use.
